Join us for a New Moon Tea Ceremony on October 21, where tea becomes both medicine and story. We will sip living tea and an Amanita brew, paired with mooncakes, as we honor the tale of Chang’e, the Moon Goddess, whose ascent carries us from harvest’s fullness into the fertile stillness of the new moon. This gathering bridges the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Libra New Moon — weaving balance, beauty, and renewal through mindful steepings, silence, and shared ritual.
Alongside the ceremony, we will explore how to approach Amanita muscaria with respect, learning to use this beautiful medicine safely and intentionally as an ally for renewal. Each participant will also receive their own tea pet — a clay companion traditionally “fed” with the first pours of tea, symbolizing abundance, lineage, and playful devotion.
