Harm Reduction

Untitled (1080 x 600 px).png

Harm reduction aims to reduce the risks and potential negative outcomes associated with psychedelic use. It recognizes that individuals may choose to use these substances for various reasons, including personal, therapeutic, or spiritual purposes.

If you have questions about your health or medications please speak to your healthcare provider before starting psychedelic therapy.

HOW TO TRAVERSE INTERDIMENSIONAL WORMHOLES AND STILL MAKE IT TO BRUNCH TOMORROW

1. Talk to your healthcare provider first.

We do not know your medical history and cannot give medical advice. Especially if you take medications or have health concerns, get professional guidance. Safety isn’t DIY when it comes to your brain and body chemistry.

2. Start slow.

Less is more. The “heroic dose” is only heroic if you survive the story. Begin with a light step, not a cannonball.

3. Set an intention.

Doesn’t need to be mystical. Just give your mind a compass: “I want clarity,” “I want to soften,” “I’d like to not text my ex.”

4. Have a sitter (or safe company).

A sober, trusted friend is like a cosmic lifeguard. You’re free to dive deep knowing someone’s got eyes on the shoreline. See our sitter mini guide for more info.

5. Prepare the setting.

Safe, quiet, cozy. Dim lights, clear the clutter, turn off the phone. You don’t want to be mid-ego death when Amazon knocks.

6. Give yourself time.

These aren’t coffee breaks. Clear your schedule, block the day, and leave room afterwards. The trip ends before the journey does.

7. Integrate.

Journal, talk, move, or meditate. Psychedelics don’t “fix” anything by themselves they just open the door. Integration is walking through it.

8. Treat your body kindly.

Hydrate, rest, and eat gentle foods before/after. Think “spa day for your nervous system,” not “after party.”

9. Respect your mental health.

If you’re in crisis, psychedelics can amplify the storm. Get support first, or wait until calmer seas.

10. Approach with humility.

Psychedelics are teachers, not toys. Respect them, and they’ll respect you back.

Bottom line: Psychedelics can be awe-inspiring tools for growth and healing, but the magic isn’t in the molecule. It’s in how you prepare, experience, and integrate afterwards.

HARM REDUCTION DOLLS

Hand made by a local clothing designer and new mother, let's call her Star. Star, pivoted from running retail stores to creating handcrafted "Lowly Dolls" during maternity leave, inspired by her baby and her artistic roots. Her journey into making psychedelic-themed dolls began as a way to spark open conversations about drug use and harm reduction, influenced by personal experiences with microdosing and her brother’s ongoing struggle with addiction. Through motherhood, Star has been forced to slow down, reflect on her past workaholism, and reframe what productivity and healing mean. The dolls now serve as both a creative outlet and a vehicle for discussing the complex realities of addiction, mental health, and family.
